SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State football team jumped up in the NCAA Division II Regional Rankings on Monday, landing at No. 2 in Super Region Four.
 
The Rams held the fifth spot heading into their game against Texas A&M – Commerce, winning 30-3 to jump three spots in the rankings. The top seven teams at the end of the season will advance to the playoffs with the two through four spots hosting in the first round.
 
Colorado School of Mines holds the No. 1 spot while Augustana (SD) sits at No. 3 followed by Bemidji State at No. 4. Western Colorado, Central Washington, and Minnesota Duluth round out the top seven.
